validate_charge_distribution |
Compare (plot, statistical metric) integrated charge spectrum for pedestal events, cosmic-ray measurements and events from artificial light sources between observations (from cosmic-ray and night-sky background events and data from artificial light source) with corresponding simulations. Includes the integrated charge vs pulse maximum and pulse width correlation. Charge distributions from pedestal events allow to validate afterpulsing rates for PMT-type detectors. |

|
validate_telescope_efficiency_by_history |
Determine effective mirror area and telescope efficiency. Compare with historical results or with results obtained by reference simulation models. Take into account the photon spectrum of shower events, muonic events, and different levels of night-sky background. |

validate_telescope_efficiency_using_muons |
Compare reconstructed brightness (total intensity) of simulated and measured muons. |
